Eggleston Services is a not-for-profit vocational rehabilitation facility that provides vocational rehabilitation, habilitation and employment services to persons with disabilities in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. HaveFun Inc., contracts with Eggleston Services for all of its product storage, shipping, and receiving needs. Also, we donate a percentage of profits fine works of Egglestion.

This year is a special occasion in the history of Eggleston Services. Fifty years is certainly a milestone that offers us an opportunity to reflect on the past and plan for the future. Would the group of parents that conceptualized the Tidewater Vocational Center in 1955 recognize the organization that it has grown into today?
Over the years both services and the support needs of those we serve have evolved. Their mission "Creating Education, Training and Employment Opportunities" is a statement of purpose, which guides the actions of the Eggleston family.
Their volunteer Board of Directors has set the course for the organization and over the years has continued to address the diverse needs of persons with disabilities within the Hampton Roads community. The roots of Eggleston Services are firmly planted in the concept of "empowerment through employment" and the recognition that economic success will help persons with disabilities enjoy a higher quality of life. For many of the individuals associated with Eggleston Services work opportunities are what they value most. For others, their involvement with non-work activities such as with Civitan Acres Leisure and Wellness Center, Residential Services offered at the Sarah Bonwell Hudgins campus or other training opportunities has added value to their quality of life.
They have developed numerous partnerships within the community that have allowed our services to expand and diversify. As they embark on Eggleston Service's second fifty years our greatest asset remains the same as the first fifty years; dedicated staff and employees providing consistently high quality services and bringing to life daily, the mission of Eggleston Services.
